DINERAMA (STREET FEAST) – Internationally Eclectic Food & Quirky Drinks

INTERNATIONALLY ECLECTIC FOOD & QUIRKY DRINKS.

This is the permanent pop-up in the heart of Shoreditch. Dinerama is brought to you by the Street Feast team and this is one of their most popular ventures. When the sun is out this place has the vibe of a mini festival, with 10 food outlets and 8 bars people are here to eat, drink and have a good time.

Although this food and drink market is set across 10,000 sq feet, the entrance is actually slightly hidden so make sure you are paying attention when looking for the venue. As you enter you are hit by the brightly coloured drinking shacks and the fantastic aromas being released by the various food stalls.

There are too many stalls to name but the highlights were the delicious Habanero Chicken Wings from Thunderbird, the rustic pizzas from Fundi and the doughnuts from You Doughnut – this latter is probably the most recommended stall at Dinerama.

In terms of the drinks I prefer to head upstairs, yes this market has an astroturfed upper deck for you to sit and really catch the rays on a hot day. Here you can grab one of the various rum cocktails from Dick’s Magic Tiki Bar or if you prefer a nice glass of wine or prosecco then head to Winerama for a chilled drink.

“WITH BAGS OF PASSION, STREET FEAST HAVE DONE A FANTASTIC JOB TRANSFORMING ANOTHER NEGLECTED SITE”

The venue was originally a summer pop up but due to the success, it is now an all year feature on the East London scene. Dinerama opens 12pm-12am Thursdays-Saturday and 12pm-9pm on Sundays. Entry to the market is free before 5 pm, after this time you will have to pay a small £3 fee per person.

I used to work around this area so have spent many sunny afternoons (which often turned into late ones) at Dinerama. It’s a great place to meet up with friends and they also provide private hire if you looking to book ahead for a work social. With bags of passion, Street Feast have done a fantastic job in transforming another neglected site into a bustling market with internationally eclectic food and quirky drinks
